I think you have already diagnosed the problem with your braking system. assuming your car has drum brakes… It sounds like the brake shoes are hanging up after braking, it could be weak return springs, rusty backing plates, etc…I would consider opening up the drums and replacing all of the brake hardware and cleaning up the backing plates, and ensure all ... hey guys, I recently put new brakes on my truck, and noticed a loud rubbing or scraping sound while turning, and while just driving straight for the first time of the ride.
